Off to the Stone Ages

As per my custom, a separate blog for a different place of travel! Keeps things neat.

Done with the last of the packing, and charging up whatever needs to be charged. The flight's taking off at 2.10am tomorrow, so I'll be up very late today. Kind of looking forward to going there, but still loads of worry left behind at home. Going to have to splurge on ICCs and call back everyday.

Arriving at 12.20pm GMT on 12 May, then taking a taxi down to Wolfson Hall where I'll be spending 3 weeks at. This godforsaken place does not have a net connection in the room, so my presence online will be sparse, to say the least. Hopefully I can find some internet cafe to spend some good quality time at!

Things I like about the hall so far:
Quiet place
Room to myself - I like being alone
Breakfast and dinner catered for (dinner is one hell of an expensive affair there, I gathered.)
Friendly phone receptionists thus far
Room is tidied and rubbish taken care of

The key irks:
No Net
May jolly well end up being the only person in the block
Shared toilet
Breakfast and dinner may come too late and too early, respectively
FREAKING FAR FROM HOSPITAL. 3 miles.
No net.
No net.
And no net.
